In the last 50 years we have made unbelievable advances in medical science. The pace of this change is accelerating as the cost of technologies like DNA sequencing, gene editing, CRISPR and molecular diagnostics reduce and—through scaled usage and research—enhancements to our understanding of the underlying biochemistry improve our ability to treat disease.

Other technologies such as medical device automation, wearable technology, artificial intelligence and nanotechnology are supporting this revolution in healthcare and delivering unprecedented levels of personalisation.

Additionally, our societies are evolving to recognise and understand the importance of mental health awareness which is changing the way we work and play.
